I used to eat here regularly. Food is generally very good but inconsistent now, the order is routinely stuffed up at the bistro in more recent times. Only had one time where the food was no good and I was actually sick. I was given a refund. Service is poor at the bistro and good at the bar. I'm not a fan of the recent changes to the pub it was a step backwards. Can be very noisy and busy at times with foul language and inconsiderate people a plenty. Lots and lots and lots of smokers! Both in and out of the smokers areas with smoke blowing back into all areas of the pub and bistro and outdoor areas. Ash and ashtrays in food areas. "Massive detraction". Our last experience was shared with a small cockroach on the table in the middle of the dinning area.......Awesome :-(Pick up your game Bargo Hotel, your sinking back into what you used to be.
A 'local pub' that is working hard to keep up to date. Still has the traditional public bar (Southern Highlands Pale Ale on tap atm but another pub that doesn't know what stout is) but the lounge is decidedly family-friendly with open seating around an log fire and kid's playground. Excellent bistro giving big pub meals with good value specials.
Unfortunately when we arrive at around 7:30 pm our favourite was not available, must have been a busy evening? so just settled for something else. Quite disappointing
Very busy today. Although the staff were rushed off their feet they still showed the typical warm n friendly attitude. Large servings n tasty food. Well done to all
Had a lovely meal of grilled chicken and very fresh crunchy salad, with some delicious garlic bread. Friendly service, quick too and restaurant was very clean. Nice little pub.
